Getting Started
Basic Navigation
- Browse Documents - Click "Start Reading" on the homepage to begin viewing documents
- Navigate - Use Previous/Next buttons or arrow keys to move between documents
- Zoom - Click on images to zoom in/out, or use +/- buttons
- Search - Use the search box to find documents by filename or content
- View OCR Text - Extracted text appears in the right panel when available
Pro Tip
Start by browsing a few documents to get familiar with the interface, then try searching for specific terms to see how the OCR text search works.
Keyboard Shortcuts

- ← → Navigate between documents
- Home Jump to first document
- End Jump to last document
- F11 Toggle fullscreen mode
Zoom & View
- + = Zoom in
- - Zoom out
- Esc Exit fullscreen
- Click Toggle zoom on image
Understanding the Interface
Document Viewer Layout
Interface Components
- Top Bar - Document name, progress bar, and navigation controls
- Main Panel - Document image with zoom and pan capabilities
- Text Panel - OCR extracted text (when available)
- Bottom Bar - Page controls and zoom controls
Progress Tracking
The progress bar at the top shows your current position in the document collection. You can see both the current document number and the total number of documents.
Zoom Controls
Click on the image to zoom in/out, or use the +/- buttons. In fullscreen mode, you can pan around the zoomed image by clicking and dragging.

Search Types
Filename Search
Search for documents by their filename. This is the fastest search method.

OCR Text Search
Search within the extracted text content of documents.

Search both filenames and text content simultaneously.

- Text Excerpts - See context around your search matches
- Highlighting - Search terms are highlighted in results
- Pagination - Navigate through large result sets
- Sorting - Sort by relevance, filename, or document ID

Quick Navigation
- Jump to First - Click the "First" button or press Home
- Jump to Last - Click the "Last" button or press End
- Random Document - Use the "Random" button to discover new content
- Direct Navigation - Enter a document number in the navigation box
Viewing Options
- Fullscreen Mode - Press F11 for distraction-free viewing
- Text-Only View - Focus on OCR text without the image
- Image-Only View - View just the document image
- Side-by-Side - View image and text together
Troubleshooting
Common Issues
If images aren't loading:
- Check your internet connection
- Try refreshing the page
- Clear your browser cache
- Try a different browser
If search isn't working:
- Try different search terms
- Check if you're using the right search type
- Make sure the document has OCR text (for content search)
- Try a broader search term
If keyboard shortcuts aren't working:
- Make sure the document viewer is focused (click on it)
- Check if another application is capturing the keys
- Try refreshing the page
- Use the mouse controls as an alternative
