Congressional Action

Initial Subpoena (August 5, 2025)

House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) issued deposition subpoenas to:

  • Bill and Hillary Clinton - Former President and Secretary of State
  • Former U.S. Attorneys General: James Comey, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Merrick Garland, Robert Mueller, William Barr, Jeff Sessions, and Alberto Gonzales
  • Former FBI Directors: James Comey and Robert Mueller

The Committee also issued a subpoena to the U.S. Department of Justice for records related to Jeffrey Epstein.

Chairman Comer confirmed that the Department of Justice informed the Committee it would begin providing Epstein-related records, with the Trump Administration's commitment to transparency.

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform released 33,295 pages of Epstein-related records provided by the U.S. Department of Justice.
